Hi all!
My name is Fayette and I'm a new member here at Better World Project. I hope that I get to know u all eventually - feel free to visit my page....hope that its interesting enough...but if enough of u visit and leave interesting messages it will be :p
Anyway, I'm the office manager for a newish (1 year old) animation company in Dubai Media City. We are called Emari Toons and we are trying to make a change in the cartoon field here in the Middle East. Most cartoons are bought and brought in from either western countries or Japan. Not that they are bad, but they don't always promote the family values and good morals valued by so many around the world. Those cartoon companies presently available in the Middle East to date have relatively poor quality. This is where we come in. We make feature length animations, TV serials, and shorts- some of our own and some customized - to international award winning standard. (We have won several!)
Our main goal at EmariToons is to always produce products with a clear focus on the message that the viewers receive. This is particularly essential in the areas of culture, education, and morality and in promoting strong family values and cross-cultural awareness.
Clearly, in order to be really successful in achieving our goals and reaching positively into the minds of the children it is important to put the message across in a way that is attractive and enjoyable for them. In surveys across the world animation consistently emerges as the preferred choice of the children. Yet, conversely, it is also clear that as parents and teachers we are becoming increasingly concerned by the content and possible negative influences of the messages present in some of the material that our children spend hours and hours watching. It is based on this information that we, at EmariToons, have planned our strategy; to provide a fun and stimulating source of educational entertainment for the kids, but which also satisfies the criteria that adults require for their children’s positive development.
Animation is a fast growing industry worldwide and has become a great investment opportunity. Even if you’re not looking to invest but are looking for a new, exciting way to reach customers & children....You might just have found it!!!!
