Hi, Liz. Sorry you could not access it. It's not a blog and I am not sure many knew about blogs back when I created that. I don't know how it works -- it is just there still even though I don't maintain it. I am going to refer you to a few lists that might be able to help. If you sign up at
CreateGreatFuneral-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
you will find a small and quiet group -- some of its members may have stories for you.
Liz: Would you be willing to write humorous piece for our eBook about planning your funeral? I take it that your own funeral is going to be whizbang since your mom is worried about the neighbors reading your interview about it. And do you know any editors that are good with editing short humor?
If you read the article, my mom did not like the Johnny Cash music and the barbecued ribs. :-)
I can suggest three great listservs where I bet you can find that kind of editor:
BCPC_Writers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
is a wonderful group of writers, often-published to newbies with a real helping culture. All kinds of writers and they may have a suggestion or three.
Laughter_Crafters-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
is a group of humor writers. May know of humor editors or have some among its members.
LaughLovers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
is a group dedicated to all aspects of humor from writing to standup to legal issues. Again, probably know of humor editors or have some there.
Good luck!
